Dale Frances is an Australian artist, living in Chicago. After living most of her life in Fremantle, Western Australia, she moved to Chicago in 2018. From her light filled studio in the Avondale neighbourhood north of Chicago she works extensively in ceramics and also works with paint and print.
Dale produces a funky range of homeware/tableware - the MadHarriet range - which is inspired directly from discarded disposable packaging and containers, in addition to recycled clay tailings. She also teaches many of her techniques of mould making, slip-casting and handbuilding along with decorative techniques in her mindful making workshops she runs from her peaceful warehouse studio. You can sign up for these under the SHOP tab of this site.
